The famous Monte Carlo Rally takes place every year in January. The race starts and finishes in Monaco. It lasts three days. All the stages of the race are in the mountains. And because it is winter, the roads are dangerous and the race is very exciting. Thousands of people line the roads to watch the cars go by.
The top rally drivers from many different countries take part in the race. There are fourteen races in the World Rally Circuit and the Monte Carlo Rally is the first race of the year.
